Thyme to Relax
Did you know thyme has been shown in studies to support mental health?
In the garden and picked this morning, one of my favorites: thyme.
Thyme is a beautiful, petite-leafed dark green herb that can be used to support us on many levels. Thyme contains carvacrol which helps regulate neurotransmitters and was shown to increase dopamine and serotonin both related to emotion.
It also contains Vitamin B6 which can help anxiety and depression.
Thyme is considered to help reduce feelings of stress and promote relaxation. In energy healing, thyme can be used to help balance the throat chakra energetically.
It can be used both in tea and aromatically. Physically, thyme can help with colds and sore throats. This is just a little bit about thyme I hope you find helpful.
Such a powerhouse in those little leaves!
Plus it tastes great (IMO). Do you like thyme?
