Hi & Welcome!
I know that it can feel scary to reach out to someone you’ve never met for help, it’s hard enough asking people we actually know & love for help, isn’t it?
In my experience, each of us holds the power & key to healing - sometimes, we just need help finding it. I also utilize an integrative approach to my counseling sessions for those who want it.
I’ve spent over 20 years helping people feel less stressed out, anxious & confused so they can sleep better, work more confidently, & just live from a more joyful place.
I received my Master’s degree in social work in 1991 beginning my career in healthcare eventually leading me to become the Director of an outpatient mental health center for many years which I truly loved. I’ve had extensive experience working with people who have experienced anxiety, depression, mood disorders, as well as severe & persistent mental illness.
I have worked in both the inpatient & outpatient settings from providing therapy to administrative duties. My vast experience allows me to not only deliver excellent care but also to strategize & incorporate the very best methods for tackling things like anxiety & depression.
While I’m certified in DBT, I use a range of evidence-based & holistic practices such as CBT, DBT, ACT & mindfulness. I offer a skills-based modality which can be very helpful for those looking to improve their coping skills. I’m also certified as a Integrative Mental Health Practitioner
I offer a range of modalities for those looking for a more traditional approach to those seeking a holistic, integrative approach where I can blend in both energy & spiritual practices to my sessions. Clinical research & neuroscience has shown benefit to these complementary techniques. I offer these according to your comfort level. Traditional therapy is great too!
In addition to being a therapist, I’m also a:
Certified Reiki Master Teacher
Certified Psychic Medium & Natural Intuitive (where I studied with James Van Praagh)
Certified Crystal Healer
Certified Animal Reiki Practitioner
